Halle is a very talented little artist. She draws beautiful pictures and when she colors she stays in the lines so well! 

She made me this beautiful picture out of play dough. 

Then last night and today she worked very hard coloring this picture for Aunt Jamie. 

I posted this on Instagram earlier this week:

Finally asleep and looking so peaceful. Tonight she was begging me to sleep in my bed.
When I said no she yelled dramatically through tears, "You always shut me out!"
Trying my hardest not to smile, I said, "Halle, did you hear that on Frozen?"
And then she was trying her hardest not to smile.

An incriminating note

This morning I overheard Luke and Halle talking about how rich Grandpa Dave is. I think this comes from a jar of change Dixie and Dave have in their bedroom closet. The kids gawk at it all the time. So a little while later, after I had dropped Luke off at Kindergarten, I found this incriminating note they left on the table. 

I guess it's time for a family night lesson on why it's definitely NOT okay to steal! :)
