Halloween fun!

We had a fun Halloween night which I called our Halloween extravaganza. We invited uncle Jason to join in. We had dinner, carved pumpkins, watched "Hocus Pocus", and made Halloween cookies. It was lots of fun and daddy even carved Halle her very own small pumpkin and carved her name on the back of it.

Halle's Blessing Day

Last Sunday was a special day for Halle, it was her blessing day. Cory did such a great job blessing her. Halle looked so precious in her little blessing outfit. The dress was actually my blessing dress, me and my mom pulled it out when I was pregnant and it was in great condition so I decided to use it for Halle. I tried to take some pictures of Halle before church but I didn't get great ones so I think I'm going to have to do a little photo shoot of her in the blessing dress. She is such a sweet, special girl and we feel so blessed to have her. It was a gorgeous day so we were able to have our families come over to to the house for a little dinner afterwards and we ate outside on the deck in my grandma's backyard. It was a great day.

2 Months Already!

I can hardly believe Halle is two months old today. She is such a good little girl and is doing good all around. She's even giving me some pretty good nights of sleep here and there - some nights she'll sleep around 5 hours straight. I just love when she is in a happy mood and I can sit and talk to her and she'll give me little angel smiles. She is getting chubbier and chubbier and I love it! All the rolls on her legs are to die for. The other day Cory gave her a bath for the first time in awhile (usually he does Luke's baths and I do Halle's) and he just couldn't get over all her layers and rolls! She is such a sweetheart and we are so happy to have her as part of our family.

Chubby cheeks!

Look at the cheeks on this girl! Halle has grown so much, she's already almost 12 lbs! No more newborn baby anymore. It's kind of sad having her be out of that stage already, they grow so fast, but she is getting more aware and active and fun. She will make eye contact with me and give me cute little smiles, it is so sweet. She scrunches up her face and opens her mouth and gives the smiles, I love when I catch her in one of her good little moods and I can get her to smile and have little talks with me. She will make little noises back to me, it is so cute.

First visit to St. George

Last weekend we went down to St. George to visit Cory's family - Halle's first trip down there. It was fun to get down there and everyone had lots of fun holding Halle and getting to know her better.

Growing fast

I can't believe it's been over a month since I have written! I think about it all the time and things I want to write down so I don't forget, but finding the time is the problem! Halle is our sweet little princess and is getting more and more fun all the time. She has grown so much since she was b0rn and it putting on weight really well. She has filled out and last week it dawned on me that she doesn't have the newborn look anymore, she has grown into a sturdy little baby now. She has such a sweet little temperment and she is eager to communicate with us. She makes eye contact and has started giving little smiles! It is so precious. When I talk to her and smile at her she gets this little light in her eyes and her mouth curls up in a sweet little smile. What a little angel she is. She is a very good little girl. She is pretty easy going and lets Luke give her kisses, hold her, and sometimes push her so high in the swing I am afraid for her! (Luke had time out because of that today, hopefully he won't continue it!) But she takes it all so mildly and hardly ever cries. Her only fussy time is at night, and some nights she is just fine, but others she has a harder time and has a hard time falling asleep until around midnight. But after that she sleeps really well, wakes up about every three hours to eat and goes right back down. I feel pretty lucky with that. She is such a beautiful, sweet little girl and we feel so blessed to have her.
