Jazz game!

We had fun at the Jazz game tonight! Grandpa Sheldon got tickets from his work and we were lucky enough to get to go with them. To Luke and Halle, Jazz games equal cotton candy! Cotton candy faces, lots of potty breaks and drinking fountain runs :). And, a lot of yelling, "Go Jazz go!" Love spending time with these kids of mine!

Brother/sister sleepover

These two are the cutest. I love that they love to have brother/sister sleepovers in the front room.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Halle, Avery and I had a fun time posing for silly pictures at my cousin Rachel's wedding tonight. Halle is so much fun and always the life of the party! She's a delight and beams with happiness! Avery is following in her big sister's footsteps with that happy go lucky personality of hers and big, contagious smile. Love these girls of mine! I'm so blessed to have them!

No break in organizing

Halle has been rearranging my cupboards and drawers all day. She just recruited her friend Elise to help. As she was doing this drawer she looked over to me and said very seriously, "There's just no break in organizing, mom." And no, I don't dress her in tank tops in winter, she just hasn't found time between her "organizing" to change out of her tumbling clothes.

Spider monkey girl

Yesterday I walked in the room to find this. "I just needed to get a closer look at the Elf, mom!" The funniest part is when I had her get back down and show me how in the world she got up there, it was as easy as pie for her! She just reached up to the ledge, pulled herself up, and rock-wall climbed the fireplace up to the top in about five seconds flat! I don't know where she gets it, but she is one strong, nimble and tricky little thing!

Christmas miracle!

It's a Christmas miracle! They decided to sleep out in the fort they made next to the Christmas tree, and actually fell asleep! Dog and all :). They had such a fun time building this fort today and played in it for hours. I love that they love having sleepovers together on the weekends. Love these sweet kids.

World Prematurity Day

Yesterday was World Prematurity Day, which holds a special place in our family's heart. I always had interest in prematurely born babies being a premie myself, but having our own sweet babies being born early and going through everything we did with Asher, it now has a whole new meaning to us. Here are our premies (born at 35 weeks) then and now at 11 months old! In a nutshell, they stayed inside mommy much longer than expected after going into preterm labor at 27 weeks and being put on bedrest. Once they were born Avery was the littler one and healthy while Asher was very sick and had a month long stay in the NICU plus an additional month being on oxygen and monitored at home. But today they are both healthy, happy and thriving! We are so grateful for the miracle of modern medicine, prayer and these sweet blessings in our lives! ❤️
