We are in our house

We are in our new house! We are getting all settled in and loving all the space!

Halle is standing up to things constantly and crawling around like crazy. She has a really funny/cute crawl... she only uses one of her knees and the other leg is always straight, but she gets around this way really quick! If I can't find her she has usually made her way to the bath room to the tub like she is here, she loves the bath! She makes her way in there hoping for a chance to get in!
Bath time!
Cute girl! Notice all the teeth!

St. George and Park City

The last few weeks have been very busy and we've been a little of here and there and everywhere! Cory had to go back to New York again to work for two weeks so after he left I headed down to St. George and was there with Cory's family for a couple days with the kids. Cory's parents were really nice to offer to tend the kids while I flew back and stayed with Cory in NY for four days. When Cory got back we went to Park City with Cory's family for their traditional 4th of July weekend in Park City.

ST. GEORGE...

Out by the pool at Cory's parent's house. Halle is so curious and crawling around like crazy. She really liked swimming.

Grandma Lori says...

Grandma Lori sends uncle Jake a weekly email on his mission. In her letters she always includes things about Luke & Halle. So I thought it would be fun to have her send me what she sends about them and I can include them in the kids' journals.

This week she said...

Lindsay and Cory came over last night and Luke played for a long time in the sand box because I kept getting him buckets of water to scoop and pour water out of and he loved that. However, he was a very dirty boy when he got done so Cory and Lindsay had to give him a bath. They put Halle in there with him and very quickly he poured a cup of water right into Halle’s face. Cory told him “No” and took the cup away from Luke. I was standing at the door and just cracked up when luke got this scrunched up eyebrow mad face and said, “I need cup!” He was trying his very best to exert his authority over Cory. I have never seen him do that . He has thrown little tantrums, but this was something new and it was very funny.

Halle is starting to stand up and let go. She can stand for about 3 seconds which is really good. She can also crawl now, but she always keeps her left leg straight so it really looks funny. She gets around almost too well, though, and we have had to put up the gate.
