Valentines Day

Valentines day was a couple weeks ago. It was a little crazy but a success. The kids woke up to hearts on the doors of their rooms with things written on them that we love about them. On the table were love gifts for the kids. Halle got some Disney princess magic clip dolls- she has been talking about these nonstop for a couple months and was so excited.

Daddy made yummy waffles for breakfast. It was really nice weather so later on we went on our first walk with the babies (I forgot to get a pic of the babies but I did get one of Halle!) and then that night we had our traditional candlelight dinner.. over take out Cafe Rio :). As we sat down to eat the babies started crying and were hungry...45 minutes later I finally sat down to eat and then Asher had a poopy diaper blowout! Things with two babies are never predictable but we wouldn't change a thing.

We love Halle so very much and are so grateful she's part of our family!

Winter nail salon

Halle set up a free nail salon in our front yard today.  It looked sunny but it was a cold 39 degrees outside when she set it all up with some help for Luke. I tried explaining to her it would be hard to get customers today with how cold it was outside but she was determined. For a half hour or so Halle and Luke stood out in the cold with no luck. Halle checked to see if Elise was home but no one was there. Then the Daw's car came pulling up past our house and Elise ran over..Halle couldn't have been more excited! Then like a true best friend Elise let Halle do her toes in the cold! Halle said, "we're just proving we can be like Elsa and have fun out in the cold, mom!"

Ten year anniversary

Ten years ago today. TEN YEARS! It was a cold, sunny, beautiful, and perfect February day. Early this morning as Cory and I were each feeding a baby I asked if on our wedding day he ever would have thought ten years later we'd be sitting in our room totally exhausted feeding our newborn twin babies. Nope, I don't think that thought ever crossed either of our minds. But I love everything about where we are today! We have grown so much as individuals, a couple, and of course as a family. I'm so grateful everyday for Cory and our children. What wonderful blessings they are to us. I feel so lucky to call my sweet little family mine and I'm so grateful I get to spend forever with them. Happy Ten Year Annniversary to us!

Grandpa day at preschool

Halle had grandpa day at preschool a couple weeks ago. It was the Friday before the super bowl and the preschool put on a little pre Super Bowl party for the grandpas. Halle was very excited about it an was talking about it for weeks before. She colored a cute little invitation for grandpa and gave it to him. They had a lot if fun at it. Grandpa Sheldon really dotes on Halle and thinks she is the cutest girl ever. And of course, she is!

Big sister Halle

Halle woke up to the babies crying and wanted to help me with the 4:30 am feeding. She's been such a good helper with the babies and is so sweet with them. If one is crying she's so quick to get a binkie and put it in their mouth and talk nice and soft and sweet to them to settle them down. Or she's always willing to go rock their bassinet to settle them down or to grab a diaper or whatever else we might need for them. She's been so helpful and it's cute to see how much she loves them. What a good big sister!

Box tickets at the Jazz game

We've been getting to go to lots of Jazz games this year! Grandpa Sheldon gets tickets from work and we're lucky he shares them with us. Last night he invited us to go with them in a box. I told the kids how lucky they are, I'm 30 and I've never been in box seats at a jazz game and they are 5 and 7 and they already have! Luke actually went a couple weeks ago with Cory and grandpa and grandma and got to sit in box seats so this was actually his second time.

Luckily grandma Dixie is in town staying with us this week to help out with the twins so she was able to watch the babies so I could go too. There was lots of yummy food, drinks and ice cream! It was a fun night out with our older two kiddos!

Halle was so excited to see this cow on our way in and had to get a picture with him!

Play doh Yoda and his wife

Last week Luke made this Play Doh Yoda at grandma Lori's house. Halle thought Yoda was neat so she decided to join in and make yoda's wife :). And...they are kissing :). The kids are at that stage where they get embarrassed by kissing and think it's gross and hilarious.

Pizza night

Halle loves pizza. Luke likes it too but Halle especially loves it. And her favorite is Little Ceasers. Saturday night when she wanted pizza I was cracking up because in all seriousness she asked, "can we please pick up some hot and sweaty pizza?" thanks to Cory calling it that! It's supposed to be hot and ready, but he's called it hot and sweaty so many times are kids are starting to think that's what it's really called! He also calls it Little Sleezers and I've heard the kids refer to it as that as well. Haha.

So here is Halle and her pizza the other night, and she's doing her new favorite pose.
