Brave Halle went on this pony ride at Thanksgiving Point and loved it. But the problem was she kept wanting to let go of the saddle and ride with no hands! You could tell she thought she was being very tricky and daring! I kept having to lean in and make her hold back on. This girl is too brave sometimes!

Staying with Grandma Lori and Grandpa Sheldon

While Mommy and Daddy went to New York for a trip Luke and Halle got to stay at Grandma Lori's and Grandpa Sheldon's house for a sleepover for a few nights! They had lots of fun while they were there.

It snowed one day and the kids had fun playing in the snow and building snowmen with Grandpa!

They made a whole snowman family!

Over the next day or two it warmed up a lot and the snow melted, but the biggest snowman was still there. Grandma said Halle really wanted to run outside in her diaper. It was a lot warmer, but still cold. Grandma tried to get her to stop but Halle was insistent on going outside. So Grandma decided she would let her go out in her diaper and figured she would make it a few steps out onto the porch and realize how cold it was and go right back inside. But not Halle. Once she got out there she went running off onto the grass and didn't stop! Grandma said it was so funny, there went a little girl in her diaper out onto the cold, wet lawn! Grandma couldn't resist getting her camera to document it.

Halle loves Cafe Rio

Halle loves the Cafe Rio dressing. She cracks me up. The dressing is pretty darn spicey and she doesn't bat an eye! Every time we get Cafe Rio and she spots the salad dressing she says "dip! dip!" until we give it to her, and she ends up drinking it like in this picture. Such a funny girl.

Halle & Luke

Luke and Halle are little buddies and partners in crime these days. Halle is getting to the age where they are playing together really well and it's really fun to see. But sometimes they can get to each other. This mainly happens when Luke is coloring or doing blocks or something and Halle just comes up and crashes right through what he is doing. Or, when Luke is trying to eat and Halle climbs up on the table and takes over. The other day Luke was eating lunch and Halle had already finished and was starting to attack Luke’s plate of food and he said, “Mommy, I’m going crazy with this Halle girl!”

Halle is talking in small sentences!

I am amazed at the things Halle is saying. The other day she said, "Call Grandma!"
The other night Cory and Luke were taking a shower and she said, "Lukey shower!"
The other day we were at Costco and we could hear a baby crying and she said, "Baby is crying!"

She is also saying some funny things. Just the way she says Luke's name is pretty hilarious. She says "Lukey" but it sounds like "Wookey". She says it loud and will scream it through the whole house if she needs Luke, "Wookeyyy!"

She has started saying, "Umm, umm," when she is about to say something. Luke does this and it's really funny to hear her do it too.

She loves Barney lately and says, "Barmey! Barmey!" When she wants to watch it. She also still loves Blue's Clues and calls it "Bluesy".
