Great Grandpa Bob's 80th B-Day party

Great-Grandpa Bob, Cory's Grandpa Bagshaw, had his 80th birthday party this month. All of the Bagshaws got together to do this for him and it was a surprise. It was a lot of fun. The kids sang a song for him. It was a fun night for a great guy. We love Grandpa Bob.

Why not eat it?

Halle eats everything. It doesn't matter if it's food or something that probably shouldn't be eaten, she will give it a try if we don't stop her.

The other night we were at a BBQ at our neighbor's and there was a bite-size piece of watermelon that had fallen on the cement below where she was sitting. I didn't actually see this happen (thank goodness!), but apparently it was covered in ants but that didn't stop her. Once Halle spotted the watermelon she grabbed it and put it straight to her mouth and swallowed it down before Cory could get it from her mouth!

The last few days I've taken some pics of some of the random things she has gotten a hold of and eaten.

Paper...an obvious choice. She bit the tip off a marker - this took a little time to get the blue off her mouth and lips.
And Daddy's father's day card.

One of her favorite things to do right now is get into my wallet and pull out all the cards and rearrange everything!

Eating ice cream on Great Grandpa Bob and Grandma Lee's porch

Mommy went out of town for a trip with some friends. While I was gone Daddy sent me this picture. He had taken the kids out to dinner and I thought it was so funny how messy Halle's hair was!

Halle is starting to potty train!

Cheesy smiles

I took this picture one day of the kids giving me cheesy smiles like they sometimes do and I just love it!

Splish splash!

The other day we went to the Thanksgiving Point gardens with some cousins and came to one of the gardens with fountains and all the older kids ran right in to play in the water, and Halle ran right in there after them! She is such a fun girl and loves to be in on the action, and definitely isn't afraid to get a little wet! Actually, she left there more wet than anyone!

Grass...happy day!

Halle is so funny how much she talks and how much she picks up on what people are saying around her. She will repeat anything she hears. We got our sod put in a few weeks ago but before it was in one night she was wandering outside on the dirt and we could hear that she was talking to herself. When we listened a little closer we could hear what she was saying, "Grass...happy day." Hah! We figured that she must have heart one of us say something like, "It will be a happy day when we get grass in," and she remembered that and repeated it later. Because we knew that we hadn't said it that day, so it must had been from before. We thought that was so funny. So after that happened we would say that to her, "Grass...happy day." And now that we have grass we say it all the time and so does she!
